San Jose: Costa Rica’s vibrant capital city was founded in the mid-18th century, boasting great cultural and historical landmarks. Visit its museums, the European-inspired National Theatre, and stroll the charming alleys of its historic neighbourhoods.
Arenal: Prior to December 2010 the Arenal Volcano was one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world and it was a truly majestic sight. Today there are no lava eruptions, but you can still see smoke/ash spew out of the top of the volcano. Find the balance between mind, body and spirit surrounded by nature thanks to the lush jungle and the imposing Arenal Volcano. La Fortuna area is recognized worldwide for being one of the most prominent wellness tourism destinations in the world.
Day 1: ARRIVAL SAN JOSE
Upon arrival at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica, one of our representatives will be waiting for you at the exit of the air terminal to welcome you, provide you with the necessary information about your trip, and then transfer you to the hotel in the San Jose area.
In the afternoon get ready for the tour of the capital city San Jose. Although it is a small city, it has a wide variety of museums, parks and areas of interest that will allow you to observe part of the architectural legacy that this city experienced at the beginning of the 20th century. During this tour, you will be able to discover the lifestyle of its inhabitants, important commercial and residential areas such as the city center and Rohrmoser and the beautiful La Sabana Metropolitan Park. Participating in this tour will undoubtedly allow you to enjoy and experience in a deeper way, the history and lifestyle of the inhabitants of this small country, which makes them unique.

Day 2: SAN JOSE – ARENAL VOLCANO AND BALDI HOT SPRINGS – SAN JOSE
After breakfast, enjoy full day excursion to Arenal Volcano and Baldi Hot Springs. The impressive Arenal Volcano is a natural wonder located in La Fortuna de San Carlos. It offers tourists the opportunity to witness the natural beauty of one of the most beautiful volcanic areas in the country. In order to reach this wonder of nature, we will travel by road to the north of the country, stopping at the famous town of Sarchí, internationally known for its hard-working artisans who give this town its reputation as the Cradle of Costa Rican Crafts. Our journey continues through plantations of various agricultural products, ornamental plants and cattle farms until we reach the town of La Fortuna, to have lunch in a cosy restaurant right in front of the volcano. Weather permitting, this location provides an unbeatable view of the mighty Arenal Volcano. We will make a stop at one of the best thermal water complexes in the area, where pools at different temperatures provide many health benefits. To close with a flourish, an excellent dinner will be served, in a natural environment of great beauty. After dinner return to San Jose.

Day 3: SAN JOSE – CENTRAL PACIFIC
After breakfast transfer to the central Pacific beach area. The exact location or beach will depend on the selected hotel.

Day 4: CENTRAL PACIFIC
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day enjoying the sun and the beach. Alternatively, you can take an optional excursion in the area.

Day 5: CENTRAL PACIFIC
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy leisure time to simply relax or explore the surrounding and beaches on your own.

Day 6: CENTRAL PACIFIC – SAN JOSE
Free morning to take the last pictures of the beautiful Pacific Ocean before returning to San Jose.

Day 7: SAN JOSE DEPARTURE
Wake up to one last breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, depart to Juan Santamaria International Airport to take your flight back home.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Costa Rica. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
